Allison is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from UCSB with a double major in Communications and Psychology. After undergrad, she moved to New York City where she worked in Entertainment Travel and Sales for two years. Allison returned to California in order to get her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University.
She chose to further her career in psychology because she has always been fascinated with human interaction and the connections we make. She has experience working with mood disorders, personality disorders, and severe mental illness and she is passionate about trauma and attachment theory, along with currently receiving her training in EMDR. Allison chose to enter into substance use treatment because addiction is something that affects all of us in one way or another. She is extremely passionate about helping others and grateful for the opportunity to help people find resources and motivation to make significant changes in their lives.
