
Sanam is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy with Distinction from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Throughout her education, she participated in neuropsychology research lab and presented her research posters regarding brain performance and its correlation with age, gender, and culture, in various neuropsychological conferences. She also has experience working with a diverse population and underserved communities, providing psychotherapy and psychoeducation to individuals, couples, and families dealing with trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence. “I am passionate about helping clients to explore intersections of substance abuse, trauma, family dysfunction, self-esteem, and major life transitions.”
