Abdull B. Khan serves as the Director of Nursing at Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Centers, where he plays a vital role in enhancing operational and medical services for our substance use treatment programs. His responsibilities encompass a wide range of areas, including staff professional development, client engagement, and patient care coordination across our levels of care.
Abdull is a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and a registered nurse certification (RN). Throughout his career, he has held diverse positions such as a psych nurse, detox house manager, healthcare manager, and treatment authorization specialist.
What Abdull Khan finds most rewarding about his work is the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team, united by the common goal of helping individuals discover their true selves. He considers his role fulfilling and humbling. Outside of work, Abdull enjoys spending quality time with his son and family, volunteering in his community, and expanding his knowledge across various subjects.
