Ronelo Sia, Jr. is the Director of Operations at Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Centers. Within his role, Ronelo is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both facilities, ensuring that all aspects are running smoothly and efficiently. As Director of Operations, Ronelo works closely with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care possible during their stay at Malibu Detox. He also plays a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, making sure that they meet all licensing and accreditation standards.
Having first joined the team as lead behavioral health technician, Ronelo has been a valuable member of the Malibu Detox team since 2020. Throughout his time here, his personal and professional experience in the substance use treatment industry assists our team in lifting clients up and providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
He is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for those seeking recovery from substance use disorders. His personal experience with addiction and recovery allows him to connect with clients on a deeper level, understanding the challenges they may face and offering empathy and support along their journey. He enjoys sharing his experiences with the clients and helping them see that they are not alone and can live a happy sober life is what drives him. “When I got sober 7 years ago, I realized that there are a lot of people that need help and I am glad to be a part of all the success stories that happen here.”
