Patrick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has had the pleasure of working with Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Center since 2017. Prior to joining our treatment center as a primary therapist, he was the program coordinator for Project Fatherhood, a Los Angeles-based men’s support group at a local trauma-recovery center.
In order to best meet his clients’ needs, Patrick has learned and been practicing a wide range of therapies and approaches since early 2014. He has years of experience in a variety of solution-oriented therapies, including narrative therapy, therapy addressing family systems, mindfulness therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
Patrick holds a Bachelor’s of Science with Honors in Psychology, which he received from California State University, Northridge. He also holds a Master’s of Science with a Distinction in Counseling, and he specializes in Marriage and Family Therapy.
